Cherating Beach Malaysia

It’s an excellent experience to have vacation in club med. G.Os are good, I would like to thank to Jia Qian, Abdoul, Haziq and Kyon. They were warmed and helped a lot. There are many interesting sports, and wonderful show every night. Also we joined special activities for Chinese New Year. I think I will come back again. Hope to see my friends then.

Family of four - Parents and children aged 20 and 16. We spent 2 weeks at the resort in two interconnecting rooms. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. Services, food, activities, GOs and ambience all outstanding. Thoroughly recommend for a family holiday.
The only elements that were personally disappointing (others may not be phased by these) were lack of balcony - pictures on the website are deceiving, it is actually standing room only with a string washing line (which was handy), general maintenance seems lacking in some really simple areas (loose grout in bathrooms, leaks in roofing along the walkways (it rained alot, so it was easy to pin point the same areas everyday) and unreliable travel partner (Malaysia Airlines). We booked through Club Med, so airline options are provided when booking. Malaysia Airlines is one option for flights, and I would rather not travel than use them again. We experienced flight changes that cut our holiday short (so not just hours, but day changes), domestic flight cancellations which meant we had to change from a 45min domestic flight to KL on the way home, to a 4 hour bus ride, just to maintain our itinerary.

My daughter and I just got back from a wonderful week at this club.
The weather wasn’t great but despite that we had a fantastic time .
Great food, activities and atmosphere . But what made our time special was the people we met and the GOs with Clayton as the Chef de Village.

*Pascaline for her wonderful yoga stretch classes . What a wonderful way to end
the day.
*Shen and Kim at the bar. They made us drinks while interacting with us with warmth and kindness and lots of smiles.
*Jung , who takes such pride in keeping the zen pool sparkling clean. Thank you for your calm presence on my morning swims .

I’d like to give some feedback too. On the interactive activities evening I think it wasn’t fair to charge for the henna and braiding when it was GOs doing it .
Also at other clubs the spa people to a quick chair massage in the main area as a taster and don’t charge. While at Cherating you had to pay.
Lastly it would be great at the spa to have tea and a quiet place to chill after a massage. Instead of tea beforehand.

We have a good time in Club Med Cherating for six days with Iris,Abu,Niki,Jessica,Dinesh,Won, Felicia,Umai,Bryan and Suet Yieng.
I love these warmhearted GOs.Their works are excellent. I am looking forward next vocation in Club Med again.
