Kani Maldives

Our stay in Club Med Kani from July 13th until July 27th was exceptional. We stayed one week in a normal suite, and one week in the exclusive bungalow suite over the water. everything was outstanding, service, rooms, people of the resort, the quality of food is exceptional too, both in the normal buffet and also in the more exclusive restaurant Kandu. The quality of scuba diving was also exceptional, with a great team of Eurodiver folks. Simply exceptional.

Amazing staff, special shout out to the circus team, Christine at fitness, the snorkel team, and Yousri the Sports manager. Food was amazing, the resort was spotless. Perfect balance of activities and relaxation on our honeymoon. Christine even introduced us to other honeymoon couples. The bartenders at Manta were incredible, especially Manu’s amazing blended alcoholic coffee drink (I still think about that drink daily). Such an incredible honeymoon!

Our highlights were beach bar and restaurants. Staff, Kawser, Zoro, Jambre, Enes, Sumon and Hanza..You were really exceptional. The folder serviettes and flowers for the kids and great service, Thank you so much!

Our 4th visit to Kani was once again one for the fond memories bank. Club Med Kani is set on a picturesque island with crystal clear turquoise water and lush palm trees for those perfect Instagram moments. There is abundant sea life surrounding the island. We saw turtles, rays, sharks and colourful tropical fish right outside our villa. We enjoyed complimentary breakfast room service on our balcony every morning, the best start to a day in Paradise!!

If you think you're in heaven already, wait till you meet the staff! I was unable to get everyone's names but let's try. We were greeted by Shané from the Manta (the Exclusive selection -water villa part of the resort). The rest of the staff at Manta concierge was also so helpful : Clem, Aldy, Anais. An enormous thank you to Shaheem who brought us breakfast in the morning, I was always looking forward to his friendly smile. Niyas, our villa attendant, kept our room sparkling clean.

I do have to mention here (simply to help future guests adjust their expectations), that the water villas are in dire need of renovations. It's really shows wear and tear since our first visit 4 years ago. It didn’t bother us though because who spends time in their room when the outdoors beckons you!

Ther CDV Ragab is ever present. The snorkelling team is fantastic : Celine, Nastumi, Sammy. I would also like to thank the restaurant staff : excellent service even when they have to serve thousands of guests : Mojibor, Siva X 2 (they're brothers funny enough - using their surnames ) Naush and Ashish (I think he's Kandu restaurant's manager).

I can’t describe in enough words how amazing the bar staff are. They became like family : Badal and Sana but special mention to : Al Amin, Ripon, Kawser and Mithun!! I hope these staff members are rewarded for their hard work.

The guys at the water sports are great fun, especially Amadou and Shuau. A very special thank you to Amadou, he made my first sailing experience so memorable! He really knows the wind and the sea, He even went jogging with me on his off day. Christine the yoga teacher has such a calm demeanour and excellent at what she does, thank you so much for our chats. Circus team : Appy (love the energy) and Lia from South Africa.

My son enjoyed the Teens club, thank you Fatima!

Last but most certainly not least and deserves special mention is Dudu. I personally thank him for his kindness and bringing so much positive energy.
