Punta Cana Dominican Republic

We spent an amazing week at this resort from July 19th-July 26th. After picking up
Our bags at the airport everything went so smoothly. We arrived at the ClubMed kiosk at the airport and were immediately taken to the shuttle and then within 5-10 minutes we arrived at the resort. The check in process was so quick and they seated us with drinks and then took us to our rooms. My husband and I were traveling with our 11 year old son and 7 year old
daughter and the family suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms was perfect for us. We were on the first floor and our patio had a beautiful view of the grounds and ocean. Our room was always well air conditioned and they kept stocked with plenty of waters and sodas/juices for us each day.
We spent our arrival day on Saturday exploring the grounds and our children loved the waterpark and swimming in the pool and ocean. The staff was so welcoming and Miguel gave us so much information about everything happening at the resort. He greeted us all by name every time he saw us. We ate at the main restaurant and the buffet has so many options and we loved everything we tried.
For the following days my daughter participated in the mini club and my son in the teen club. Alexei was so wonderful with my daughter and King did and a great job with the teens club. They loved doing sailing, circus, archery, mini golf, the water park, and pools with the club. I love how organized it was for them and they were always outdoors and being active. Each day in the min club at the end of the day they did some type of event like a slip and slide or treasure hunt. They loved doing all of the activities with them each day. Some days they chose to do full days and sometimes half days. As a family we had so much renting kayaks, swimming at the ocean and pool, and enjoying all of the shows and entertainment the resort has to offer. Our children always enjoyed seeing their new friends again in the evenings.
My husband and I loved the combination we were able to have of family time and adult time. The Zen pool was so relaxing and I loved being able to take classes such as Aqua Gym at the main pool and Aqua Yoga at the Zen pool. We had fun doing the golf class and kayak class together. We found all of the food to be amazing at the main restaurant, at Indigo, and at the buffets on the beach. We’ve been to other all inclusive resorts and although there may be more restaurants the food quality was not nearly as good. The seafood nights at the buffet were a favorite for all and the paella on the beach was absolutely delicious.
On Friday we did a snorkeling excursion which was incredible and a highlight of our trip. The staff went above and beyond to find a time for us as we booked very last minute. Santo was a great guide. We saw so many fish and an octopus at the reef and then had a great time swimming at a different ocean pool and sandbar. Joe captured so many amazing photos that day and I cannot recommend the photo package more. The photography team
was awesome and did such a great job. We love every photo we have so much. We can’t wait to visit again!

Club Med Punta Cana was such an amazing experience for our family! We have a 14, 12 & 16 month old and there were things for all of them! The concierge service with the exclusive part were beyond helpful with our baby and supportive of whatever the family needed.

We've been to this property three times and it never disappoints. Our family took advantage of the soccer tournaments, trapeze, kayaking, tennis, and pickleball. We really appreciated one of the GOs, Jorge, being so supportive of our kids during the soccer tournaments.

The food is very good, and there are always new things to try.

The rooms, particularly the family suites, are very accommodating for families.

We just returned from a week at Club Med Punta Cana. We visited as FitBodies Guest Pickleballs Coaches. What we learned is this resort is committed to activities. It’s a different vibe than other all inclusive resorts, very kid friendly and very family oriented. Overall it was an amazing experience for my wife and I. We met and helped people from 7 or 8 different countries and founds ways around things when language barriers existed….there is almost always someone who will translate.

The heat was on, and humidity was up, but that did not keep the guests from coming out. We taught pickleball for six days teaching at 9 am each morning and 5 pm each evening. Groups ranged from 10 to 30+ depending on the day and time. With 8 courts everyone got a lot of play.

Big shout out to Miguel and his staff. Ramon was always there to guide us and help while his staff was also helpful. We ran a tournament on Wednesday with 14 teams (4 pm) which was so much fun. Lots of parent child combos signed up with two of the top three teams involving a player under 16 years old. We finished Friday night with an amazing party to recognize all the sports participants from tennis, to yoga ,and of course pickleball. Great energy and the crowd was so engaged despite the unplanned down pour that nature added to the mix.
