Michès Playa Esmeralda Dominican Republic

Thank you to all the amazing GO's: Sarah, MJ, Kenzy, Severine, the entire bar and restaurant staff, and everyone else I'm forgetting for another amazing vacation at Club Med Miches. If you are reading this and are on the fence about booking your vacation here, let this be the sign that you should not hesitate. My family and I can't wait to see you all in 2027!

This was our second stay at Club Med Michès Playa Esmeralda, and we're already hoping to return next summer.

The biggest draw for our family is the Mini Club. The activities are fantastic. Our kids loved archery, trapeze, tennis, kayaking, and the kids' pool with water slides. We could actually enjoy kid-free time without any parent guilt because we knew they were having an amazing time.

The staff truly make this resort special. Our kids were thrilled to see Sarah and M-J again after meeting them at Club Med Québec Charlevoix during our ski trip in March. They remembered our family, and the hugs goodbye at the end of the week meant so much.

We also loved the included activities. Snorkeling right off the beach was a highlight for our family, even though visibility wasn't perfect. The food was consistently good, and our room in the Exclusive Collection La Perla area was spacious and comfortable, with a separate room for the kids.

It is a bit of a drive to get there from the airport but they make it so easy to setup the airport transfers. The only downside was the mosquitoes and sand fleas, but the resort provides insect repellent, and it works well if you remember to use it.

Another wonderful Club Med vacation. We're already looking forward to our third visit!

Club Med Michès is a fantastic destination if you're looking for great entertainment, and plenty of sports activities. The G.Os were definitely the highlight of our stay.

A special thank you to Emma and Jean Charles, who were the life of the party while always remaining responsible. We'd also like to thank Héctor and Miguel for making our stay even more enjoyable with their kindness and attentiveness.

From the moment we arrived at Club Med Michès, my friend kept telling me, “Just wait — Club Med is a resort like no other.” I’ll admit it: I didn’t fully believe her. But after spending a week here, I understand exactly what she meant. This place isn’t just a resort — it’s a community, an experience, and for us, a little piece of magic.
What truly made our stay unforgettable were the GOs, who turned an already beautiful destination into something extraordinary. The Circus Team — Kenzi, Joel, Nacho, Tammy (to name just a few) — were phenomenal. Their energy, talent, and kindness made every moment feel like we were hanging out with friends rather than staff.
The Water Sports Team was exceptional as well. Nico, Ignacious, and Leo brought so much enthusiasm and expertise that every activity felt effortless and fun. And a special shoutout to Amy, the best workout partner anyone could ask for — she made fitness feel like a highlight, not a chore.
Lastly, the drinks… let’s just say Adonis is an artist behind the bar. Every cocktail was crafted with care and personality.
This was my first time at Club Med, and I left genuinely amazed. The GOs I mentioned didn’t just provide service — they created memories. They made the week feel like a getaway with friends, filled with laughter, connection, and joy. I met people I’ll stay connected with for a lifetime.
If you’re considering Club Med Michès, go. It’s not just a vacation — it’s an experience that stays with you long after you leave.
