Wow - really had a great time !

The one hour snorkeling trip WAS FABULOUS. We saw a sea turtle and a big sting ray. Romeo and Olga and Jorge were super helpful. Monica made the booking so simple and was always wearing a smile.

I also learned to make guacamole at a cooking class lol Irad is a great instructor and so nice to chat with.

We had a great stay at Club Med Cancun’s Jade Club. Nights in Jade featured champagne, hors d’oeuvres, and live music; lunches were fresh and custom-made, and the afternoon crepe bar was a daily hit with our boys and their friends. There were also two evening Jade guest parties with dancing and entertainment.
Service was a highlight. Housekeeping was attentive and even made a towel birthday cake. The Jade Club team made us feel welcome from day one — Jose Luis, head of Jade, was friendly every time we saw him, and Daniel and Erik made sure we had everything we needed. At the Jade bar and pool, bartender Elisio remembered each family member’s drink, and Jesus, Jaime, Daniel, and Ademir were consistently warm and welcoming.
We tried every venue. Taco Arte for dinner stood out for authentic Mexican dishes (and Friday night fireworks next door), though the main restaurant food felt underwhelming compared to past trips.
Our boys loved Teen Club — archery, trapeze, mini golf, volleyball, water polo — and the water park’s slides, both with friends and as a family. Teen Club G.O.s Thais and Nono kept the group busy and entertained.
I played pickleball each morning; instructors Julio and Jorge made lessons fun for all levels with well-run tournaments.
Photographer Julian stood out by remembering our names and room number, making photos seamless. We did miss the outdoor shows, as about half have moved to the indoor theatre, which we’ve always loved outside.
A few areas could use attention: the gym and ping pong area need updating, Jade rooms are starting to feel rundown (our AC couldn’t get humidity low enough to keep things dry), and we were turned away from snorkeling as a family several times and had to walk to the family area.
Chef de Village Jose Luis was the friendliest we’ve met in 7 Club Med visits across 3 resorts — always greeting guests and leading dance parties.
Overall, Club Med Cancun’s Jade Club delivered exceptional service and activities, and we’ll be back.

This was our first CM experience and it was pretty positive on the whole. The activities and amenities were perfect for our 3- and 7-year-old and the other family we were with. We stayed in the more dated part of the resort, which is in need of some upgrades but was clean and serviceable (you don't spend much time in your room anyway). We loved the Aquamarina pool, playground, water park and archery/trapeze area. The beach near Taco Arte is also perfect for little ones. The main beach was also good, at least until the seagrass arrived, but I can't fault them for that. CM seems to go out of its way to make things seamless, fun, and engaging, and the staff are truly fantastic. There were however 2 main complaints that I think many others I spoke with also shared: the food was generally disappointing for the premium price point (we actually found the main buffet to be better than the 2 reservation-only restaurants for dinner, which was odd) and the main pool was in terrible shape (although they are replacing it soon, which is good, because it is pretty embarrassing to the CM brand). All and all - I would definitely go back to CM, although would probably try another resort next time.
