The Charentais countryside by the Atlantic
The Club Med La Palmyre Resort emerges from La Coubre Forest, a huge pine forest with dunes washed by the waves of the Atlantic Ocean at the gateway to a land rich in treasures of every sort: the Charentais vineyards, oyster beds and the salt marshes of the Île d'Oléron and some of France's most beautiful towns and villages such as Mornac-sur-Seudre and Talmont sur Gironde. Foodies are in seventh heaven here: the land and sea come together to offer an incomparable culinary experience. The fifties-style charm of Royan and the unspoilt Côte Sauvage coastline of La Palmyre create a typically French seaside ambiance. In the distance is the Phare de Cordouan, the last French open sea lighthouse to be open to the public.

Highly recommend this Club Med! Kids all ages have amazing facilities at their disposal, we cannot complain about anything here!! Room was perfect and clean!
