Bodrum Palmiye Turkey

Another excellent week at Club Med Bodrum Palmiye.

Once again the sailing team led by Selchuk were a highlight - great professionalism and made our holiday excellent! Shout to Sacha for the excellent sailing lesson, Mehmet for the windsurfing lesson, Salah for accompanying us on the regatta and Babou for all the help getting equipment into and out of the water!

Resort facilities and food were top notch, as were all the drinks at the bars - one request would be to add a Hugo Spritz to the menu please!

Some feedback would be that the App didn't seem to have all the activities on there - the sports ceremony and beach BBQ weren't listed on the app, and the evening activities didn't seem to run on time, meaning we'd finish dinner quickly to get to the evening activities that then didn't start until around 15 mins post-advertised time - would recommend either starting on time or moving the times! Also miss the evening GO shows - in 1 week only 1 GO show, all the others were by external artists which miss a little bit of the Club Med spirit!

Everyone at the restaurant and among the staff were very friendly and service-oriented—excellent service overall. It would be great if the hotel integrated more beachside meal services, barbecues, and parties to enhance the experience. Additionally, the "White Nights" event could be moved to the beach area instead of the pool. Currently, the daytime setup for the event limits access to the pool area, which is inconvenient for guests.

My girlfriend and I had a really enjoyable stay at this Club Med. One of the things we liked most was the friendly and social vibe – because it’s a slightly smaller resort, it’s easy to get to know people, and that made the whole experience more relaxed and personal.

The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. They’re on the simple side, but that’s fine since most of the time is spent in the village.

The G.Os and Chef de Village were very welcoming and engaging throughout the trip. The food was great – lots of choice, good variety from day to day, and great views from both restaurants. All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) were consistently good and I appreciate the grill stand a lot.

We also really enjoyed the activities. Daily tennis lessons with Pierre were a lot of fun – he was super helpful, friendly and a great teacher. Archery with Yasin was also a favourite – he’s a great guy and clearly knows his stuff. The catamaran sailing was also a standout: Sacha gave clear instructions and let us go out on our own afterwards, which was a nice touch. You turn into a sailor in no time.

Overall, we felt the value for money was very good. Great setting, good food, fun activities, and a lovely atmosphere. Happy to go back!

A memorable 2nd visit to Bodrum. Fantastic team who go the extra mile to help ensure our holiday has all the magic ingredients to make it a hugely memorable trip. Credit to all and a few names in particular to acknowledge are Etem at the bar for his dedication to his role and first class efficiency. To Yasim in archery for his wonderful instruction and infinite patience, to Camille in Sports for his enthusiasm, his fun and welcome encouragement. The Chef de Village, Boris is ever present with a natural flair for positive leadership, who is people loving and full of boundless energy - a real asset to the Club Med culture.
Bodrum is a spectacular location, a little piece of paradise, with fab landscaped gardens, a spacious room with comfy bed and a daily clean, quality food with plenty variety, evening entertainment not to be missed and superb daily activities which all guaranteed a wonderful holiday and the desire to return for a 3rd visit.
